GROOMS JOBS BOARD

Part time groom needed Monday to Friday mornings and occasional weekends on a private family yard, about 10-15hrs a week and I'm flexible on times and hours. You will be working solo but there are people around on the farm if a problem arises so the ideal candidate would be someone able to get on without assistance. 3 easy to do horses on 24/7 turnout with access onto a large stable yard area. Duties include daily poo picking, making feeds and giving morning feeds, haynets, grooming and weekly tack cleaning. Two of the horses will need hacking, lunging and schooling, one is a very easy going but can be strong 17hh sports horse and the other is a very green to school 16.2hh hunter but both very easy to hack and lunge. A competent rider with experience riding inexperienced or young horses is needed though for schooling. Hacking is unbeatable consisting of private farm land and forest tracks, hunt jumps and for longer hacks there is access to all weather gallops. An outdoor arena hopefully will be available for schooling in come the winter.
