Hughes Dressage home of International Dressage riders Rebecca and Gareth are looking for a new apprentice to join their team starting in April 2022.

An amazing opportunity for a young, motivated and passionate individual to work as part of an amazing team of humans and horses alike! You will not only achieve a qualification with your apprenticeship but also gain an invaluable insight into the world of dressage, learning from some of the best in the sport and industry.

The successful applicant will be ambitious and ideally beaspiring to be the next top competition groom! The position would require you to primarily care for the horses and ensuring their needs are met as well providing experience ofhandling a range of top class horses to include youngstock and stallions. The usual yard duties would be included such as mucking out, yard and field maintenance, tack cleaning, mucking & skipping out, feeding, hay and watering etc.

There may be some riding available for a competent rider however, the role is primarily a non-ridden position.
