Groom needed for Private Yard in Warwickshire
To start February 19th 2024
> On private family yard
> Family play polocrosse and polo
> 60 acres plus all weather track, horsewalker and turnout paddocks
> Requirements: We need a FT groom from Feb-start of October for the 2024 season. Looking after 12-14 horses, some of whom are youngsters in training. Bring horses in, groom them, feed, tack up, exercise in sets (ride and lead where possible), pack and unpack lorry, clean equipment, drive lorry to tournaments, manage vet and farrier appointments. Order feed and supplements.
> Ideal person could live in.
> Ideal person will be 25 years plus. A self starter, who takes huge pride in their work and has high expectations. Able to follow procedures and handle horses gently and with patience.
> Must have experience handling young stock TB's
> Ability to ride quietly and without interfering with top competition horses way of going.
