GROOMS JOBS BOARD

Due to our successful expansion, RDA (Woodbridge & District Group) is looking for an additional part-time groom.

We are a long-standing charity, celebrating our Ruby anniversary next year. We are proud to be an Approved BHS centre and hold a Five-Star Local Authority Licence.

The post involves looking after the day-to-day horse, stable and field management which may include exercising the horses and clipping. Post-holders must therefore be hard-working, fit and healthy and willing to work in all weathers. A valid driving licence is a condition of employment and you will require your own transport due to our rural location.

Applicants must hold an equine qualification to a minimum of level 2, or have proven skills and work experience to this standard.

Part-time. Minimum 9 hours a week across three set afternoons. The ability to cover staff absence is advantageous. The role will include weekend working and occasional evening duties. Fixed term for two years, which may be extended.
