GROOMS JOBS BOARD

We are looking to recruit a Stud Groom to join our family run stud, which is run alongside our other farming activities. The applicant should have good horsemanship skills and experience having previously spent time working with mares, foals, weanlings and yearlings.

The successful applicant will be involved with the day-to-day management of the stud, will be proactive and have an enthusiastic and professional attitude, hands-on with a high attention to detail. They will be required to undertake all the usual general stud duties including day-to-day care of our broodmares and their foals and yearlings, managing land, paddocks and machinery, liaising with vets and keeping accurate records.

The successful candidate will live on site in a brand new, 3-bedroom house with enclosed garden, overlooking paddocks.

Applicant must be able to drive and have a clean licence and it would be of benefit to be able to drive a small horsebox.
