Fittocks Stud near Newmarket is seeking a new Stud Groom as our present Stud Groom who has been with us for 8 years is returning to his native France.

This has presented a great opportunity for someone seeking to further their career and head a small, well organised, happy team.

We have a select band of broodmares and a fewboarders. Fittocks Stud has been amongst the leading consignors for the past 6 years since selling under their own name at Tattersalls Yearling Sales and have recently raised and sold multiple American Gr.1 winner PROGRAM TRADING, American Gr.2 winner REDISTRICTING and Irish Gr.2 winner ARIZONA BLAZE.

We are looking for someone highly motivated and ambitious and the successful candidate needs to be proactive, reliable and detail-orientated with strong hands-on ability.

Experience in foaling and sales prep is essential Daily care and management of broodmare, yearlings and foals Supervising the team Liaising with vets and farrier Maintaining records and reports A competitive salary with excellent benefits and on-site accommodation is on offer.
