A wonderful opportunity for an Apprentice Equine Groom in a warm friendly team, looking after 30 horses. There are great facilities including 2 outdoor floodlit arenas and 1 indoor. A horse walker, 2 tack rooms a wash bay and a tea room. Fantastic hacking including some private paths around the farm.
Duties to include
- Mucking out
- Turning out/bringing in
- Tack cleaning
- Tacking up
- Feeding
- Filling hay nets
- Clipping/pulling/plaiting/trimming
- Bathing
- Rug changing
- Schooling
- Riding
- Exercising horses from the ground (lunging, horse walker, long reining, pessoa training etc.) for experienced candidate
- Holding for vet/farrier/dentist
