I also have a small sports pony stud. I have broodmares, young stock and a stallion. I breed a small number of ponies every year, usually by AI. This is something I am looking to increase and have foaling down service and stallion collection facilities in the long term.
The main work for the apprentice will include mucking out, yard work such has sweeping and filling hay nets, bringing in and turning out a variety of horses, rug changing and helping with general yard duties and maintenance.
I can offer guidance on training horses from the ground, lessons with fully qualified instructors, stud work and production of young stock in preparation of grading and fatuity evaluations

option of learning to drive the lorry as well.
