GROOMS JOBS BOARD

Fantastic opportunity for an apprentice  in a high end show jumping yard and stud. Our horses range from working horses, inclusive of young stock for training, through to show horses for competitions. On our stud side, we also have brood mares and young stock for daily yard care. 
The job is very varied and will keep an eager apprentice, busy and hard working in a beautiful setting, complete with fantastic accommodation  for the right candidate .Applicant must be confident around horses, have a positive hard working, can do attitude, to maintain yard duties with the options to be involved in frequent shows and show preparation.

•  Mucking out 
• Turning out/bringing in
• Tack cleaning 
• Tacking up
• Feeding
• Filling hay nets
• Clipping/pulling/plaiting/trimming Bathing
• Rug changing 
• Schooling 
•  Riding 
• First aid 
• Exercising horses from the ground (lunging, horse walker, long reining, pessoa training etc.)
•  Holding for vet/farrier/dentist
