Tim Vaughan Racing is seeking a motivated head person to join our friendly team at our yard at Pant Wilkin Stables, Cowbridge
This is an excellent opportunity for a capable and enthusiastic individual to play a key role within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Trainer with the smooth running of the yard.
- Overseeing the yard at weekends on a rota basis. (1 in 3)
- Daily checking and monitoring of horses
- Feeding and general horse care
- Assisting vets
- Providing routine medical care and treatments
- Riding
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a racing yard
- Confident and capable rider
- Reliable, organised and able to take responsibility
- Good team player with a positive attitude
Working Pattern & Benefits:
- Working 1 in 3 weekends and 1 afternoon off a week.
- Good rate of pay
- Share of pool money
A full UK drivers licence and the ability to go racing is essential.
