Medi-K First aid ESSENTIALS

Do you know the first aid essentials?

The BGA are delighted to have teamed up with Medi-K to offer a 'Certificate in First Aid Essentials', a bespoke online first aid course that any groom or yard manager can take. This online first aid training equips you with the skills and knowledge which could help to save someone’s life.

Using high quality videos alongside written guidance, this online course will provide you with all the information needed to be able to recognise emergency situations, treat conditions and reactions and ensure that you can take appropriate action at the time of an incident.

Kay Patterson HCPC Paramedic and Managing Director of Medi-K said,

Most of us hope to never find ourselves in a situation where we have to apply our first aid training, and the chances of having to perform first aid in your life is quite rare. However, just like insurance, you hope that when you do need it, you’ve got the right skills to potentially save a life.

The reality is that you never know what might happen, and this is not just about workplace accidents. Having the skills to deal with a first aid situation can benefit you in your personal life and well as your professional life as a groom.

Simply work your way through this online first aid course to develop your lifesaving knowledge. Once you’re done, you can download a free first aid essentials certificate.

  • Developed by a qualified first aid professional
  • Fully online course and assessment with no time limits
  • Approximate duration: 1 hour
  • On completion, certificate is downloaded straightaway

BGA Members can take the course for free today!
