Searching for a Super groom! Nash Court Stud, Market Drayton, Shropshire/Staffordshire Salary £15,470-£22,100 - depending on experience 5 day week - 42.5 hours, 1 weekend day, same days each week. We are a showjumping stud breeding around 5 foals each year, and producing them through to 1.40 level. The role will entail being responsible for the same 5 horses each day. There are 10 horses in work this winter, plus 7 foals/weanlings in and 15 in fields to be checked/fed, between 3 people each day. The job will entail but is not limited too: *mucking out 5 boxes *looking after the welfare of 5 well behaved fit competition horses *tacking up, untacking and washing off *putting horses on and off the walker *Keeping the yard clean and tidy *tack cleaning *abiding by health and safety regulations *bathing horses ready for shows We can offer a fabulous working environment on a beautiful yard, with a friendly team of tea and biscuit addicts. There is also an opportunity to travel to high profile shows (if desired) The team is great at working together to achieve the daily jobs, and make sure everything is done on time at the end of the day whilst having a laugh. Yard hours are 8am to 5pm, we stop for a cup of tea in the morning and then half hour for lunch. The yard is easy to work on, a lot is undercover, and everything is set up to be as easy as this job can be. Paid holidays, pension, PAYE and contracts through Equestrian Employers We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, passionate and has a high attention to detail to achieve a high level of care. We are happy to train someone who wants to learn. We are happy for well behaved dogs to be on the yard, and also potential for your own horse, and your own horse to come to shows if there is room on the truck. You do need to be able to drive due to rural location, we aren\'t on a bus route. To apply please send your CV to ondine@nashcourt.com
