GROOMS JOBS BOARD

Middleton Livery are looking for a mature, experienced, hard-working live in Yard Manager to run the day to day workings of our 37 stable yard in Northamptonshire.

You will need to organize the full and part time staff with all yard duties. Ensuring the yard runs efficiently, being highly organized, motivated and conscientious with an attention to detail.

Friendly, enthusiastic, and positive able to lead and manage the existing team are definite attributes. The ability to make sure all horses are cared for to a high standard, implementing the daily routine, this is a hands on role that will include yard duties. Identifying any issues with the horses and communicating where necessary, the ideal person will be proactive, adaptable with excellent communication skills, needing to be a team player and enjoy working with people and horses of course!

To be able to turn out to a high standard pulling manes, tails, plaiting and clipping. A confident, proven record, rider would be a bonus ideally in dressage, eventing, showing and hunting.

Opportunity for riding from hacking, schooling both on the flat and jump and the opportunity to compete depending on ability.

This is a full time position, ideally working alternate weeks 40/48 hours so one day off one week then two days off the next but this is negotiable to the right candidate.
