GROOMS JOBS BOARD

Moody Dressage is a livery and training yard, home to Becky and Hannah Moody. It is a small family run business with around 25 horses and a small team of staff, involved in the education and development of both equines and humans, from grass routes through to Olympic level.

We are looking for a yard manager to join us (as our long standing staff member who has been with us since 1998 is looking for a less physically demanding role)

Reporting to Hannah and Becky, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient day to day running of the yard (between 24-30 horses) and assisting in the development of apprentices and other staff members. Therefore, prior experience of running a yard and assisting in leading a team is essential/advantageous.

This is a busy role where good communication and organisational skills are essential, along with a can do attitude. You will be expected to build strong relationships with other members of the team, clients and other workforce.

The role will be a full-time position and will include weekend working in accordance with our staff rota.

Candidates are required to have a full driving license and have access to their own car.

There is the possibility of a live in position, and also the opportunity to bring a horse with you.

Salary £28,120 to £31,824 dependent on experience.
