We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Stud Hand to join our team in a live-in position. The role involves all aspects of stud work, including the daily care and management of broodmares, foals, and youngstock.
Responsibilities include:
Handling mares, foals, and young horses
Feeding, mucking out, and general yard duties
Tractor work and general farm tasks
Assisting with veterinary procedures and routine care
Assisting during foaling season
Requirements:
Full drivers licence
Competent operating a tractor
Confident handling foals and young horses
Hard working, reliable, and able to work as part of a team
Foaling experience is preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
Live in accommodation provided.
