Professional Showjumper and producer of Quality horses is looking for an apprentice to join the team. There are high standards, so looking for a self-motivated team player with a passion for horse who can help with daily yard duties and assist with the regular physios, Farriers, vets appointments, there is always the opportunity to learn on the job, gaining new experiences and training. Looking for a happy, tidy and hard working team player. The yard is a professional show jumping yard and stud, with the chance to assist with care of broodmares and foals. Duties to include:
- Mucking out
- Turning out/bringing in
- Tack cleaning
- Tacking up
- Feeding
- Filling hay nets
- Clipping/pulling/plaiting/trimming
- Bathing
- Rug changing
- Schooling
- Riding
- First aid
- Exercising horses from the ground (lunging, horse walker, long reining, pessoa training etc.)
- Holding for vet/farrier/dentist
