GROOMS JOBS BOARD

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Head Person to join our friendly and hardworking team at a busy racing yard in Shropshire. Working closely with the trainer and senior team, the successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the yard.

Duties will include:

• Overseeing daily yard duties
• Managing and supporting yard staff
• Monitoring horse health and checking legs
• Assisting with the vet and routine medical care
• Ensuring high standards of horse care and yard organisation
• Riding fit thoroughbreds (riding required)

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge and experience with horses
• Confident riding racehorses
• Hardworking, reliable and organised
• Ability to lead and motivate a team
• Racing yard experience preferred but not essential (other equestrian disciplines considered)
