ABRS partners with BGA

The British Grooms Association (BGA) and The Association of British Riding Schools (ABRS) are delighted to announce their new partnership, which will enhance and support sound employment practices in the equestrian industry.

In a hugely positive move, the ABRS, from 1 April, will join all their members to the BGA’s Employers Zone. Members will have access to the BGA’s Contract Creator, downloadable templates and dedicated information that supports equestrian employers in complying with the law.

Lucy Katan, Executive Director of the BGA said, “This is a bold move from the ABRS. We applaud them for this initiative and very much look forward to helping their members.”

Hannah Mays, Chairman of the ABRS says, “The ABRS are delighted that we can provide access to the BGA's Employer's Zone to our members, who are proprietors of riding schools and livery yards and employ a significant number of staff as instructors, grooms and in the management of their centres. The Employer's Zone will be an invaluable resource to them, assisting them in both meeting their legal obligations and following best practice in the management of staff.”
