Report to Low Pay Commission

The Low Pay Commission has asked the BGA to help provide background on the equestrian industry and low pay. The Low Pay Commission is the Government body responsible for investigating the impact of the National Living Wage and National Minimum Wage.

To enable us to respond we would like your help by completing an anonymous quick fire survey. This is your opportunity to have your say.

We do not collect your name or contact details at any point. There are just 14 questions in total and it will take you no more than 5 minutes.

There are two surveys - one for employed grooms** and one for employers

Please do share it with your colleagues and friends - a good response rate is important, and it might help your salary and our industry in the future.

Thanks for your help.

**This survey is only for EMPLOYED grooms. If you are a self-employed, freelance groom please do not complete the survey - the NMW/NLW does not apply to you as you are not employed and thus set your own rates.
