Alan Davies to Open Eqclusive Showroom
Eqclusive is delighted to announce that super groom and BGA member and Ambassador Alan Davies will open the company’s new Glasgow showroom on 10th March 2018. To celebrate the launch, Eqclusive has just 50 tickets to giveaway to people who would like to attend.
Despite being a fairly young company, Eqclusive has quickly become a big name in the equestrian industry thanks to founder Marta Kotonska’s exacting standards and keen eye for the best equestrian products. In addition, Marta also develops products and the Eqclusive brand is best known for the Eqclusive Brush Packs and Alan Davies brushes, both of which are exclusive to the brand.
“We are so excited to officially open our new showroom,” said Marta, “And we’re delighted that Alan agreed to open it too. We sponsor Alan and work with him very closely and it’s great that he’ll be opening our new bigger premises and speaking to 50 of our customers and fans who will be coming to the grand opening.”
In 2016, Alan developed his own range of brushes that went on sale with Eqclusive in 2017. The pack created contains eight brushes needed to turn the horse out to the highest possible standard when at home or competing. Alan has travelled around the world, to World and European championships as well as the Olympics, where his attention to detail and devotion to the horses he cared for have earned him widespread admiration. In 2015, he was awarded Team GB Groom of the Year, in 2016 he won Horse & Hound Groom of the Year, and in 2017 he won FEI Groom of the Year.
"I'm really excited to be coming up to Scotland to see the new premises of Eqclusive,” said Alan, “I've been working together, with Marta for over a year now; we both share a huge passion for grooming and taking care of horses and we are looking forward to developing new and inspiring ideas. Great times ahead! "

What the personal accident policy covers you for:
- Whilst at work
- All stable duties – mucking out, grooming, washing off, turning out
- Clipping
- Riding – including hacking and jumping
- Hunting
- Lunging
- Breaking in
- Holding horse for a vet and other procedures
- Travelling horses both in the UK and abroad
- Competing in line with your job including: jumping, dressage, eventing
- Injuries that may happen to you whilst you are teaching - but you must also be grooming as part of your duties and not be a sole instructor
What the personal accident policy doesn’t cover you for:
- Riding in a race, point to point or team chase
- Stunt Riding
- Accidents occurring whilst travelling to and from work
- Riding and competing your own horse (but you can upgrade when applying for membership to include this)
- Public Liability – this is a separate insurance policy - the Freelance Groom Liability Insurance
- Care Custody and Control – this is a separate policy - the Freelance Groom Liability Insurance
