BGA member nominated for HorseScotland Award

BGA member Daniel Dowie, from Fife, has been nominated for ‘Employee of the Year’ at the hotly contested HorseScotland National Equestrian Awards.

Daniel has worked for Team Oakden, a competition yard in Fife, for almost three years. He was nominated by his employers Sarah and James Oakden for his positive outlook, his commitment to his job and the horses in his care and his passion for helping them to progress.

Daniel (pictured right) said, “I am really proud and so chuffed to be nominated for this awards It’s so nice that everyone can see how much I love my job. It’s a fabulous feeling to be shortlisted for something so big and it’s so nice to know that working hard really does pay off.”

In addition to Daniel getting nominated our very own BGA Director Liz Daniels has been shortlisted for Participation Coach of the Year.

The awards take place on Friday 2nd March at Airth Castle. For more information click here.
