BGA Launch Online Wage Checker

1st August 2018
News Article Image

As part of our ongoing commitment to educating and supporting grooms in the industry, we are proud to announce our latest helpful tool – My Wage Checker.

This easy to use online calculator allows you to input your wages and accommodation deductions to check that you are receiving National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage.

Executive Director Lucy Katan says, “My Wage Checker has been developed to give our members a simple calculator to quickly check that they are received NMW/NLW. With HMRC looking closely at the equestrian industry it is important for both employees and employers to ensure that grooms are being paid correctly.”

My Wage Checker is free for all BGA members, is completely confidential and can be accessed here by logging in to your account.
