Renwick Welcome Dressage Delight

Renwick & Sons are thrilled to announce a new addition to their fleet of high profile equestrians as they welcome young dressage talent, Maddy Whelan as a Brand Advocate.

The British company welcome the 15-year-old who is currently based in Oxfordshire. Maddy rode in the 2016 GB Pony European Team in Vilhelmsborg, Denmark, on a mare that she trained from a 5-year-old. Following this success she was then offered the ride on a horse, Monsieur Pomerol, which enabled her to be part of the GB Junior Team at the European Championships the following year in Roosendaal, Holland. She continued this partnership in 2018 at the same time as riding Sandy Phillips’s stallion, Diamond Design.

It was this stallion that she took to the 2018 Junior Europeans Championship in Fontainebleau, France. Maddy now has three young horses at her base and plans to train them up through the levels.

Maddy has been taking full advantage of the grooming tools, as she explains:

“The Renwick & Sons brushes have been brilliant this winter. Not only for tackling the mud but also for bringing out a beautiful deep natural shine to their clipped coats. We've had a lot of comments on how good their coats look and even what coat shine we use, but it's just the brushes. The horses love their daily pamper sessions with these beautiful technical brushes.”

Daniel Renwick, Development Manager for Renwick & Sons, is delighted with the association:

"As a proudly British brand, we are very pleased to be supporting British talent, and we look forward to supporting Maddy as she progresses with her young horses."

Renwick & Sons are purveyors of the finest grooming tools, combining cutting edge bristle technology with beautiful British craftsmanship. Handcrafted and made entirely here in the UK, they are also proud partners of the British Grooms Association.

The brand also sponsor MBE & Paralympic Dressage Rider Natasha Baker, Show Rider & Producer Katie Jerram - Hunnable and International Show-Jumper Jessica Mendoza.
