The first British Grooms Association fundraising show has been hailed a success after raising £300 towards the new website. The unaffiliated show jumping was run by BGA member Louise Gillings, Events and Facilities Manager at Quainton Stud, in order to raise funds for the BGA’s new website.

The well attended show took place on February 23rd at Quainton Stud, Aylesbury, Bucks.

“Despite the wind we had a really great turn out and everyone said how much they enjoyed the day. I have been overwhelmed by the generosity of the sponsors who put forwards some amazing prizes and BGA member Jess Button who came along to help. I am a long standing supporter of the BGA and am thrilled to be able to give up some free time in order to help them expand on the excellent service they already provide” said Louise.

John Smales, BGA Chairman said “We are absolutely thrilled that this money has been raised in support of the BGA. It really does make a huge difference. A very special thank you must go to Louise for organising the show, Quainton Stud for hosting, all of the sponsors who kindly donated prizes and everyone who attended.”
