The British Grooms Association (BGA) is looking to increase its’ presence in Scotland by enrolling a ‘Scottish BGA Representative’. The BGA have partnered with horsescotland to search for the next groom to join the team.

“The BGA already has members in Scotland, but we would really like to build this membership and provide a true voice for Scottish grooms”, explained BGA founder and Executive Director, Lucy Katan.

“We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with horses, who can communicate well with other grooms in Scotland and would like to join our existing team of Reps.”

Jean Thomson, horsescotland Membership Liaison Advisor said “BGA, associate members of horsescotland, are committed to supporting Scottish grooms and we feel this is a fantastic opportunity for someone not only to be part of such a proactive organisation, but also to raise awareness of the excellent advice, guidance and education provided to help develop the grooms career in Scotland.”

This voluntary role would suit a groom from any sector of the industry, or even a recently ex groom. They must be computer literate, communicative and be someone that likes to makes things happen!

The BGA provides a great opportunity for someone to boost their CV, develop some new skills, and become involved in this dynamic and exciting organisation that truly supports and represent all grooms from all disciplines.

If you are interested in applying please get in touch with liz.daniels@britishgrooms.org.uk outlining why you would like to get involved.
