5 minutes at Badminton with....

Our BGA team is at Badminton and Liz caught 5 minutes with high flying groom Tessa Anderson, travelling groom to Blyth Tait.

New Zealander Tessa flew in from Kentucky this morning and headed straight to Badminton to take over the care of Bear Necessities.

Tessa has been working for Blyth for three years and this is her first Badminton, "I'm so excited to be here. Badminton is amazing. It's so iconic and it's somewhere I have always wanted to groom."

Following a successful dressage on Thursday Tessa was out hand grazing 'Bear' in front of the house and commented "Bear is an angel, he is so good and a total dude. Polos are a big thing with him - he loves them. My job is to get him through the event in the best possible shape and look after him to the best possible standard I can - he's very good though."

When asked about fellow Kiwi and employer Blyth Tessa says, "Blyth is amazing. I don't think there is anyone better to work for. He is a real cool character- he is just as easy as Bear!"

And for anyone aspiring top level grooms Tessa has this advice, "be committed, stay positive, work hard and enjoy it. If you don't enjoy it there is no point. I'm really proud to be here."
