The BGA caught five minutes with Tim from BGA sponsors Bedmax and official supplies of bedding to Badminton Horse Trials.

Bedmax haven been supplying bedding to horses at Badminton for 10 years, why is this such a successful partnership?

It's very well received by the grooms, riders and the horses, and it's like home from home for many of them which is important. It's a purpose made clean product, it's dust free and ideal for competition horses as it provides support and cushioning.

How does Badminton rate as a show for you?

It's our first major show of the season and we always look forward to it. We are always very busy, especially on cross country day, so don't get to see any of it. But I went home and watched it on TV last night!

Do you have a background in horses and how does this help?

I used to show jump and have a yard of 12 horses. It always helps that you have background knowledge and understand the demands of grooms, horses and riders. I believe in the product and know it's top class so it's easy to talk to people about it.

For anyone who hasn't used Bedmax what would you say?

Give it a go and I think you'll see the difference. It's made of pine and has antibacterial properties. It's works better as a thicker bed and it's absorbent so it's easy to use. From a grooms point of view it's a very consistent product so they always know what they are getting. We are proud to be BGA sponsors for the last 9 years - happy birthday BGA !
