All the grooms flying out to the Rio Olympic Games have gained the Groom Clean certification.

The BGA has worked in partnership to deliver the e learning course to all grooms, both those on the Long List and those finally selected to travel to the Games.

"We are pleased that the BEF have stipulated that all Olympic grooms have the Groom Clean certification", explained BGA's Executive Director, Lucy Katan.

"Although the grooms are of course the most experienced and knowledgeable on the circuit, it is still crucial that they have a comprehensive understanding of how to avoid an anti-doping rule violation.

We are proud that the new Groom Clean e-learing course could help to educate the Rio 2016 Team GB grooms."

All grooms (and riders and owners) can take part in the Groom Clean e-learning course, it is an essential tool for anyone that works with competition horses.
