Test Cuddlrs winter kit for free!

The British Grooms Association (BGA) is delighted to welcome Cuddlr as a sponsor.

If you’re a groom, chances are you’ve heard of Cuddlr’s trousers, in fact you may well already count them as a favourite piece of yard kit.

Designed with grooms and winter outdoor working in mind, they’re made to keep you comfortable and protected through long days outside, whatever the weather throws at you.

We’re told that Cuddlr trousers are a winter yard essential, so to celebrate our new partnership, we’re looking for five special BGA grooms to put these and other Cuddlr kit to the test this winter (and even make some money doing it!)

Our chosen testers will receive:

In return, we’ll ask you to share your experience of wearing them on the yard – including photos and/or short videos showing the clothing in action as you get on with everyday grooming life.

Whether you’re mucking out at 6am, turning horses out in the rain, clipping, riding, or simply spending long days outside, we want to see how they stand up to real groom life!

You'll also get an exclusive affiliate code enabling you to earn 10% of revenue generated from your personal code!

 

Could you be one of our Cuddlr Winter Groom Testers?

To apply, email us at info@britishgrooms.org.uk, telling us:

  • Your name, where you work and your BGA membership number
  • A link to your main social media account/s
  • A photo or short video of you working on the yard (this can be a link to a social post)
  • A few sentences about why you'd make a great Cuddlr Winter Groom Tester
  • A few details about your typical winter working day - what grooms tasks do you do regularly?
  • Your trouser size

If selected, you'll be asked to:

  • Wear your free Cuddlr kit regularly throughout the winter
  • Share at least 2 pieces of social content each month in October, November, December, January and February (10 pieces of content in total) showing the trousers, socks and hat in use (and of course we're really happy for you to post as often as you like)
  • Tag @Cuddlr and @BritishGroomsAssociation in your content
  • Share feedback about Cuddlr clothing and your experience wearing it
  • Allow Cuddlr and the BGA to repost your content, with credit

The closing date for applications is Sunday 20th September so get in quick!

What the personal accident policy covers you for:

  • Whilst at work
  • All stable duties – mucking out, grooming, washing off, turning out
  • Clipping
  • Riding – including hacking and jumping
  • Hunting
  • Lunging
  • Breaking in
  • Holding horse for a vet and other procedures
  • Travelling horses both in the UK and abroad
  • Competing in line with your job including: jumping, dressage, eventing
  • Injuries that may happen to you whilst you are teaching - but you must also be grooming as part of your duties and not be a sole instructor

What the personal accident policy doesn’t cover you for:

  • Riding in a race, point to point or team chase
  • Stunt Riding
  • Accidents occurring whilst travelling to and from work
  • Riding and competing your own horse (but you can upgrade when applying for membership to include this)
  • Public Liability – this is a separate insurance policy - the Freelance Groom Liability Insurance
  • Care Custody and Control – this is a separate policy - the Freelance Groom Liability Insurance
