Haddon Supports Groom Clean

Groom Clean has recieved a boost thanks to a new iniative that will see all Haddon Training apprentices taking the certification.

The interactive e-learning course provides an understanding of the importance of anti-doping and controlled medication in equestrian sports.

The course covers both the technical aspects of anti-doping, the testing procedure and practical stable management tips on how to avoid an anti-doping rule violation.

"Haddon Training is committed to all of their equine Assessors completing the Groom Clean course to be able to educate their Apprentices on the subject. Apprentices are encouraged to complete Groom Clean as part of their programme, this is the first step to working towards a clean sport and a great CPD task.

Today’s Apprentices could become Team GB’s grooms or riders of the future, educating them now about anti-doping will reduce the risk of accidental doping happening in years to come." said Chris Hewlett from Haddon Training.
