Lordship Stud is a privately owned Stud located just a few miles from Newmarket that has been producing racehorses for over 100 years.
We are looking for an experienced Stud Hand to join our small, friendly and professional team on a full time basis.
The desired candidate should be enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about working with world class bloodstock.
The position will start as soon as possible and for the right candidate this would ideally be a long term position.
Previous experience of working with Thoroughbreds is essential. The position will involve working with pregnant mares, young foals and yearlings on a daily basis.
General yard duties as well as estate maintenance constitute a significant part of the job role. Experience with hand held machinery as well as tractor driving would be preferable though not essential.
Very competitive salary with opportunities for further education and career development.
No accommodation available, however a generous 'live out' allowance is possible depending on the candidate.
