GROOMS JOBS BOARD

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experiencedYearling/Yard Managerto join our team at Culworth Grounds Farm and oversee the care, development, and handling of our young horses. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with a strong background in equine care and a passion for bringing on the next generation of athletes.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management:Lead and supervise a team of staff. Assign duties, provide training, and conduct performance reviews.

Horse Management:Oversee the daily care of all horses, including grooming, feeding and ensuring their health and well-being. Manage horse workloads to ensure their wellbeing.

Yard Maintenance:Maintain a clean and tidy yard environment, ensuring all equipment is in good working order and the yard is presented to a high standard.

Record Keeping:Maintain accurate records of all horse activities, including vet records, farrier visits, and rider information.

Requirements:

Proven experience working with yearlings or young horses

Strong leadership and organizational skills

Confident in handling young, spirited horses

Knowledge of equine health, feeding, and conditioning

High standards of care, cleanliness, and safety

Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented
