GROOMS JOBS BOARD

Excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work on private yard of International & Grand Prix dressage rider! Due to our Head Girl of 4 years moving on to pastures new we are seeking an experienced & reliable groom to become an integral part our friendly team caring for 18 horses (between 3 people). Job includes general yard duties & care of all the horses ranging from young stock to GP horses. Applicants must be able to work as part of our small team but also take sole charge as is necessary and strive for the highest standards in all aspects of their work. Prior handling of youngsters, stallions & fit competition horses is essential and applicants should be confident working with these kinds of horses therefore experience in this type of position is preferable. Some riding/hacking out could be available for the right candidate. Successful applicants would also be required to groom at both local & national/international shows on a regular basis. An HGV license would be highly desirable. There is potential for own horse & well behaved pets are welcome. A spacious, private cottage is available on site and we are based only 15 minutes from Aberdeen International Airport, 20 minutes from both Stonehaven and Aberdeen train stations and 5 minutes from the city bypass.
