The Gredley Family require a hands-on Manager/Stud Groom to be responsible for the smooth running of their two private stud farms, both in close proximity to Newmarket.
The youngstock are reared mainly at Stetchworth Park Stud and are brought along up to ridden stage before going into training along with any purchased yearlings. The facilities at Stetchworth are also used for horses out of training. Mares are foaled down at Middle Park Stud where the successful applicant will be based.
Experience in all areas is required including foaling down, rearing youngstock, caring for horses out of training, paddock management including fencing and grassland, maintenance of machinery, documentation relating to coverings etc. and management of the team of staff.
Salary in the region of £55,000 to £65,000 for the successful applicant depending on their skill set with lovely family accommodation available.
