We are a mixed competition and livery yard based on the edge of the Marlborough Downs

We usually have about 20 horses of mixed abilities from those who just hack to intermediate event horses.

It is a busy, friendly yard with lots of opportunities to learn and develop

We are looking for an apprentice who would like to learn, is reliable, has lots of energy ang who is trustworthy

Attitude is more important than experience.

Duties will include

  • Mucking out
  • Turning out/bringing in
  • Tack cleaning
  • Tacking up
  • Feeding
  • Filling hay nets
  • Clipping/pulling/plaiting/trimming if possible
  • Bathing
  • Rug changing
  • Riding
  • First aid
  • Exercising horses from the ground (lunging, long reining, pessoa training etc.)
  • Holding for vet/farrier/dentist
