Great opportunity for an apprentice to join a team working within a 15-acre purpose built equestrian event centre in the heart of Suffolk
Duties to include
- Mucking out/ poo picking
- Turning out/bringing in
- Tack cleaning
- Tacking up
- Feeding
- Filling hay nets
- Tidying/ de weeding the yard/ ragwort pulling
- Clipping/pulling/plaiting/trimming
- Bathing
- Rug changing
- Riding (occasionally for the right person)
- First aid
- Exercising horses from the ground (lunging, long reining, pessoa training etc.)
- Holding for vet/farrier/dentist
- Assisting on competition days i.e Course building, judging, or stewarding
