The BGA is pleased to announce a new working partnership with the Association of British Riding Schools (ABRS).
“It is important that employers understand their responsibilities when employing staff. The ABRS have over 300 members, the majority who are employers and so this working partnership is great news. We hope all ABRS members purchase access to the Employers Zone; for just £29.50 they can ensure that they are protecting their business and employing within the law,” explained BGA Executive Director, Lucy Katan.

CALLING UPON EMPLOYERS TO REFORM APPRENTICESHIPS

Employers across the equestrian industry are being called upon to have their say on the proposed standard for apprenticeships as part of the Government’s trailblazer initiative. The consultation period with employers will run from Wednesday 1 April to Tuesday 21 April 2015 and urges them to complete a survey relating to key themes highlighted in the proposed standards.
